Hey guys, some of you may be familiar with this concept put out to artists. I’ve wanted to get back into animation for a while and thought this would be a fun little test to try it out again. Let me know what you guys think! -Alec
Hey guys, below is a little behind the scenes of the Twisted Metal Illustration.
1. This is a rough sketch did in a sketch book.
2. I then took the sketch and scanned it in and added a perspective grid so the cars don’t look like they are skewed out of place. As well as placed the Twisted Metal logo in at a good size that I liked.
3. I printed it out at the size as the final drawing, and traced it on the bristol paper.
4. Then I inked over the traced drawing, the final size is 11″x12.25″
5. Then I scanned in the inked drawing into photoshop and applied all the colors and effects!

Hey guys, here is a look behind making the comic this week. Below I explain the steps, and if you click on the image below you can see what each of the steps look like.
1. First is the rough drawing, shaping out the bag, bowl and where I wanted the dog. I was also keeping in mind where I wanted to write out the titles and dialogue.
2. I pulled up some images of dogs online, I wanted to find a cute dog with lots of wrinkles.
3. Then using the pics I finished the pencils and the writing.
4. The inks finish the drawing portion, using a mix of drawing pens and brushes.
5. The drawing is scanned into Photoshop to be colored, I tried to keep it simple, but make the food look as disgusting as possible.
